Note: In my previous comment I begrudgingly parroted the plural stacks but there is of course only one stack (per thread). That a stack can hold multiple return address is its glory but it is in fact still only one stack! On this point I am emphatic.

I'm always amazed when error leads to success. While it's true that you can't spend one stack two ways I over looked the fact that you are not limited to one stack. It's funny because smylic said "Axorion, don't deceive us" but that's exactly what I was trying to do. The solution I gave at submission didn't even use whirling. Why did I use 4 functions? One for each possible direction. Pseudo-whirling if you will.

It is a great puzzle!
And yes, probably simpler than you think.
It requires 3 stacks per arm, 2 of which are used in the green section.
Each stack requires only 1 function!

Hmm... Must have missed something. Should have been a stacking nightmare. I'll have to check it out later. I'm off to work for now.

Axorion, don't deceive us, it is really easy:)

I (and it seems all other players who has solved) don't understand why did you need 4 functions.
