Thread for puzzle Light Switch. Hints are OK, but please no full solutions.

This puzzle is very nice. It was not hard to get length 25 after finding main idea. But wholly this puzzle is really hard.

The required optimizations is meant to make this one a puzzle in a puzzle. And due to the painting used it is also visually elegant to watch the bot clear all the stars.

I've got two length 25 solutions, but none of them could fit into restrictions. For a long time I couldn't find solution for that problem until I've understood that I can swap one function and part of another function.

I wouldn't count it as my puzzle. It's just a re-post of a puzzle since Smylic pointed out that the previous one was hackable. And since I had an optimized version already in designer mode, I just submitted it.

But perhaps I will design a puzzle one rainy day. It would have to be novel in some way, since I'm not to fond of mass productions of puzzles with hidden paths or patterns, based on simple ideas only.
